lyrics
I haven't been here in a while
Not much has changed, the same blue sky
And still, the river carves its way
Through fields of green, but it is not the same
I haven't been here since you've passed
Oh, since that day last spring that's been our last
Each stone and tree is where it's been
Not much has changed, except for me
The place that's been my heaven's now my hell
And every day, I think about what you've told me last
Your final words from your dying lips
Oh, that crushed my heart
“Be prepared to lose
Before falling in love"
The sun is laughing at my pain
I know, the fate of man's to die in vain
That there's a time and place for everything
But I'd do anything to kiss your lips again
The river's laughing at my grief
It's torturing me, but I can't leave
This is as close as I can get to you now
I just want to lie down here and decease
The place that's been my heaven's now my hell
And every day I think about what you've told me last
Your final words from your dying lips
Oh, that crushed my heart
“Be prepared to lose
Before falling in love”
That's so easy to say
But so hard to do
When death comes, I'll embrace it
I'd give my soul to bring you back
But Lucifer won't take it
I'll just lie here
In these fields of green
'Til the very end
And never love again
Oh no, for to love is to lose

Gutted we did not get down to see you at Darker Days so with the money I did not spend on wine I'm cheering myself up with your new Album. :) alexcorrosion

When listening to their songs, I was instantly hooked with their unique take on Gothic Rock.
Their symbiosis of electronic Darkwave hightened with Rock / Goth Rock guitars is not entirely new, but set to use very, very effectively!
Added with the singers voice which's timbre shares similarities with the voice of Rosetta Stone, makes them just the perfect Gothic Rock outfit for me.
My favourite Tracks on The Tragedy Of Seconds Gone are: Desire and Winter Falls.
Also love their albums artwork! ebmbear
