lyrics
The reaper's after you, man
You know that I'm right
You can't escape your fate
It will happen tonight
A silver crucifix by your bed
And you pray
You promise to repent
To change your depraved ways
Yeah
Oh, God won't answer you
Nothing left to do
Nothing left to say
There's no other way
Oh, accept your fate
God only gives to take
Your tragedy's the fate
Of every man
You will never feel or see
The sun again
Oh, no one's prepared
For the hour of death, no
But from dust we came
And to dust we'll all go back
Yeah
Oh, God won't answer you
Nothing left to do
Nothing left to say
There's no other way
Oh, accept your fate
Your time has come
Oh, God won't answer you
Nothing left to do
Nothing left to say
There's no other way
The hour of your death
Take your final breath
Oh, God won't answer you
He only gave you life
To take it away again
Gutted we did not get down to see you at Darker Days so with the money I did not spend on wine I'm cheering myself up with your new Album. :) alexcorrosion
When listening to their songs, I was instantly hooked with their unique take on Gothic Rock.
Their symbiosis of electronic Darkwave hightened with Rock / Goth Rock guitars is not entirely new, but set to use very, very effectively!
Added with the singers voice which's timbre shares similarities with the voice of Rosetta Stone, makes them just the perfect Gothic Rock outfit for me.
My favourite Tracks on The Tragedy Of Seconds Gone are: Desire and Winter Falls.
Also love their albums artwork! ebmbear
